Victoria Palace Theatre

Tales on Moon Lane - Bookshop
— A lovely bookshop situated in Primrose Hill. Always a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. You will find all the classic, Beatrix Potter, Philip Pullman and JK Rowling. Check their website for any author/book events.

Chelsea Flower Show
— The show get bigger and better each year. Tickets however must be purchased online. You can book for a late entry and enjoy half-price tickets. There are other shows at Hampton Court Palace (8-13 July) and Tatton Park (23-27 July). 2009 dates t.b.a.
Kids will love the wide open spaces and wide range of giant vegetables and other activities to keep them amused.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
— South bank of River Thames (about 10 km south-west of London) these gardens are a wonderful refuge from the busy London streets. There’s lots to see. On 21 March the Palace re-opens until September 2008. Visit the family home of George III and Queen Charlotte. This is palace made famous for the King’s presumed ill health. Spring of course is the best time to see the orchids returned and bulbs in full bloom. There are several cafes and restaurants for lunch. Most are all open by late March and closed late October.
There are dedicated monthly activites for children, check the website for programme times. April brings farmyard animals and a Children’s Spring Trail.

— A number of special 'kids' days have been organised to encourage future stars...if you book on the special 'Kidz@theWicket' day they receive specially reserved seating, a goody bag of Tshirt, pen, cap and one of those funny foam hands and can also have their photo taken with a player.

Children's International Theatre Festival
— One week of non stop theatre, performances from theatre groups across the globe. Its an extensive line up and a must for all ages. The program is listed at their website and is grouped by ages from 0 - 14 years. Don't miss a visit to one of Edinburgh's great theatre houses and some terrific performances.
